Norris Planes, Brass Infill and Chariot Planes

#1701 These are now in   Scale model Stanley Rule & Level Co. Toy Stake Truck.  These were made for one year in the 1990s.  These are hared to find, especially in the box, and they aren't making any more of them. Very Sturdy mostly steel construction, approx 4" long by 2 1/2" high.  This is very nice example of this  highly collectible toy .  A$ 95

Stunning Preston No. 1372 Dovetailed Rosewood Stuffed Smooth. Plane. A very rare plane in unbelievable condition. Barely used. Original Preston marked parallel iron. Pristine rosewood. The brass has an unbelievable, undisturbed, warm, smooth, brown patina. The side, soul and mouth are also pristine. The mouth is as tight at they come. Dovetailed steel construction. The knurling on the cap screw is as crisp as the day it was made, has tiny strees mark on one side of handle and does not go to other side.  A$ 1095

Dovetailed Gun Metal Steel Soled Ivory Stuffed Improved Miniature Mitre Plane By Wayne Anderson, 3 1/8" long. 3/4" snecked iron.  A$ 975 these is my favourite current plane maker, I have more than 10 of his planes in my personal collection.

Pair of Coachmaker's Tail Handled T Rabbet Planes with Whale Bone Wedges- Soles are 3 1/8" Long, A pair of crispy iron planes which appear to be unused. The soles are 1" wide. The planes are 4 3/4" long overall. They are very smooth and nicer than most. The wedges are whale bone.  A$ 795

Spiers Ayr Rosewood Stuffed Dovetailed Steel Infill Smoothing Plane, A very clean plane with a thick, heavy 2 1/8" parallel iron by Aaron Hildick. The brass has a warm brown patina. The tote has the usual crack at the base and a brass reinforcement attached to the top. The plane is clean and usable right out of the box.  A$ 625
